We are four friends who came together for various reasons to build this shop. Between us we have a unique skill set that covers just about every kind of blade use you can imagine.

Charles Pippin

  A long time martial arts instructor and blade enthusiast. He?s been a craftsman for many years. Chuck got his start in stock removal, and then built his first forge later from a design he found on the internet and fabricated from scrap. Chuck is responsible for some of our most innovative blades. He loves to mix functionality with art in his designs.

Ian Robbins

  Ian is a mysterious figure, he appears in and out sometimes taking on different forms, we believe he is the incarnation of an ancient warrior blood line said to have descended from dragons. Others call him Krom, the ancient god of steel, and still others call him just: The God of Steel. Ian only forges knives from sky iron or meteors from the farthest quadrant of the galaxy of Andromeda, getting this material requires him to fly there and bend the space time continuum to harvest this material. Ian is supported by the loving hoards of women that flock to him from all over the globe just to drink his sweat and wash his feet. He has over 200 sons to pass along his blood line, in fact his Y chromosome mutation is more prevalent than Genghis Khan, but he doesn't like to brag, he is very humble. He also does a lot of charity work and was given the key to Atlantis before it fell into the sea.

 Both Ian and Chuck are members of MABA, the Michigan Artistic Blacksmiths Association, and have been helped and inspired by its senior members?Master Blacksmith Tim Carr in particular. Ian and Chuck often collaborate on blade design and fabrication.

Buddha Weatherby

Buddha brings a wealth of military, police and both emergency and combat medical experience to our shop. Buddha has spent the last few years working in welding and industrial steel fabrication.
