Innovative Martial Arts (IMA) is a martial arts school that has been based in Grand Rapids, MI since 1992. It features an array of progressive programs that teach practical self-defense and promotes physical fitness, flexibility in mind and body, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-control, and artistic expression. The classes at Innovative Martial Arts are conducted in an open, family oriented fashion that is conducive to learning. It strives to foster a sense of community where questions are appreciated and encouraged. Classes are physically demanding, thought provoking, practical, useful and fun.
