Innovative Martial Arts (IMA) is a martial arts school that has been based in Grand Rapids, MI since 1992. It features an array of progressive programs that teach practical self-defense and promotes physical fitness, flexibility in mind and body, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-control, and artistic expression. Regular classes are held for novices as well as experienced martial artists...check our schedule for class times.

The classes at Innovative Martial Arts are conducted in an open, family oriented fashion that is conducive to learning. It strives to foster a sense of community where questions are appreciated and encouraged. Classes are physically demanding, thought provoking, practical, useful and fun.
